Terms of Service

These terms apply to anyone booking or engaging in coaching services with Harry Helps Horizons. By booking a session, you agree to the terms below.

Nature of Coaching

Coaching is a collaborative, practical, and educational process aimed at helping clients (or their children) understand ADHD and build systems and strategies that work with their brain. Coaching is not therapy, counselling, or medical treatment (see our Disclaimer for more detail).

Bookings and Payment

  • Sessions must be booked and paid for in advance via the booking platform

  • Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Clients may reschedule or cancel a session with at least 24 hours' notice at no charge.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged in full, except in cases of genuine emergency, at our discretion.

  • We reserve the right to reschedule sessions with reasonable notice if needed.

Confidentiality

Information shared during coaching sessions is treated as confidential, except where:

  • The client gives explicit permission to share it (e.g. with a parent, school, or other professional)

  • We are legally required to disclose it

  • There is a genuine risk of harm to the client or others, in which case we may need to involve appropriate support services

Coaching for Minors

Where coaching is provided to a child or teenager, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent and remains responsible for the engagement. Parents will typically receive general updates on progress, while respecting the young person's growing autonomy and the coaching relationship.

Client Responsibilities

Coaching works best as a collaborative process. Clients are asked to:

  • Attend sessions as scheduled

  • Engage honestly and openly

  • Follow through on agreed strategies between sessions where possible

Limitation of Liability

Coaching is provided on a best-efforts basis. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from participation in coaching, to the extent permitted by law.

Termination

Either party may end the coaching relationship at any time. Any prepaid, unused sessions will be handled according to our refund policy [outline your specific policy here].

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
